Tips To Solve Word Scrambles
- English words have 3 parts, prefix, root, and suffix. First, look for common sequences of words that start a word (prefixes) or end a word (suffixes). The most common suffixes are: -tion, -ity, -er, -ness, -ism, -ment, -ant, -ship, -age, -ery, -ing. By setting the suffixes aside, you can narrow down jumbling to the remaining letters.
- Pair 2 consonants, then add a vowel and see if the 3 letters are making any sense.
